Illustration
Drawing has always been a really fun and relaxing part of my life. As a teen I filled sketchbooks monthly, and love having it as part of my professional life today. Below are a number of client, promotional, and personal projects that show the style of what I like to do.
Awarded SMPS Seattle 2020 Reign Awards, Best Marketing Collateral. The Blueline Group creative brief for award submission says it all:
“The idea of a themed gift basket literally “snowballed” from our Yeti mugs. We wanted a theme and card that would make people chuckle as well as provide useful information that was interactive (drink recipes!). And no matter if someone was receiving a gift basket or not, we wanted them to feel that we were thoughtful in our card, theme, and the “fun” that went with it. We loved working with graphic designer, Jamie Ballestrin, who helped bring our vision to life. We also understand the need to support traditional print campaigns and gifts with social media and the drink recipes provided the perfect opportunity to engage with people through posts, polls, and comments. So, who’s Yeti to party with this campaign?”

Tai Chi Animals (Ongoing Project)
This illustration set is being built for a future children's book to accompany a class/workshop for elementary school students, showing specific tai chi forms that help calm a child and teach them to understand and communicate emotions . Each animal represents a different season and emotion.
For a friend’s baby shower, I created a geometric typeface of numbers, chose a color palette that matched the nursery, and filled in all the sides with some cute little drawings. Blocks were sealed to be baby-safe for future playtime!
Father’s Day Card for my dad, 2019.
These two cuties were drawn on commission for a personalized stationery set.
Magnets made using random illustrations for networking give-aways.
