Description: PacificSource’s new HQ building stretches two floors and 400,000sqft, with the majority a part of the secure PacificSource offices, more public training/event rooms, and other TI spaces with food hall and fitness amenities for the entire building. This project’s process began with collaboration of myself, a GBD team, and the client’s marketing/branding team on collecting artifacts of their history insuring the logging industry and identifying their priorities, like visualizing their strong roots in the PNW. We explored the story they wanted to tell and celebrate, and the desire to create a workplace that is comfortable, inviting, warm, and unique to them.
Throughout buildout, the project scope stayed fluid as more space was added and reconfigured within the project. Many experiential and brand storytelling concepts took a backseat, but ultimately the cohesive experience of the space was incredibly successful due to early concept goal setting and collaboration between myself and the GBD team to ensure brand and materiality was intentional.
