The basics...
in 2002, I needed a 3rd period elective in high school and found Photoshop and Silk Screening. Really, from there, it was on. My first love was screening patches and band shirts for hardcore bands in southern California, until I figured out that my skillset could actually be a career.
I moved to the East Bay (CA) when I was 18 and after a short stint of automotive painting classes in Novato, I enrolled at Ohlone Community College for Graphic Design. A month later, I walked into the print shop across the street from school, and just happened to end up with my first Graphic Design job.
I have steadily moved my way north to Portland, where my mom grew up, and can't really see leaving. My interest in the evolution of digital vs. print materials, crafting, and tattoos continues to widen my perspectives in the design world. As a freelance designer I am incredibly knowledgable in the AEC industry, where I've been for 6+ years. After planning my wedding in 2017, I've gotten very excited about event design/decor of all kinds. I am also always interested in working with small businesses doing good things in their communities.
I am a trooper and I want to trying new things - all of the new things. Wood working? Animation? Photography? Making my own lotion bars and lip balm? Decorating the most extravagant tiki party? You name it - I'm in.
